Most gardens that get out of hand were not neglected on purpose. A tenancy ended, a summer got away, someone was ill. The job is the same either way: cut back what has taken over, clear what should not be there, and hand back a garden that can be kept on top of.
After that it is up to you. Some people want it done once and take it from there. Others have us back on a schedule for mowing, edging, borders and weeds, so it never reaches that point again.

Where the waste goes
A clearance produces far more green waste than a garden bin holds. We are a licensed waste carrier, so it leaves with us and nothing is left bagged up at the side of the house.
Nesting season
From around March to August birds nest in hedges, trees and dense growth, and it is against the law to damage a nest that is in use. If you are planning work in spring or summer, a patch with a nest in it has to wait.
Keeping it that way
Regular visits through the growing season stop a garden reaching the point where it needs clearing again.

How overgrown is too overgrown?
It is not. Waist-high grass, brambles through the fence and a garden nobody has been into for years are all normal work for us. Send a photo and we will tell you what is involved.
Do you take everything away?
Yes. Cuttings, brambles, weeds and anything else that comes out of the clearance leave with us. We are a licensed waste carrier.
Can I have a one-off tidy and then regular visits?
Yes. A one-off clearance can be followed by visits on a schedule that suits the garden, or left as a one-off.
